What this feature does

Reviews provide purchase-linked communication and reliability feedback while supporting moderation and fair aggregation.

This guide describes the behavior implemented by Mallello, the people allowed to use it, and the operational checks that keep it dependable.

Detailed workflow

1. An eligible customer opens the vendor profile after the relevant order milestone.
2. The server verifies the customer/order relationship and review eligibility.
3. The customer submits a rating and permitted commentary.
4. The vendor aggregate updates using approved reviews.
5. Administrators investigate reported or policy-violating content.

Rules and permissions

• A user cannot review the same qualifying relationship repeatedly unless editing is explicitly supported.
• Ratings are validated to the supported scale.
• Moderation preserves a reason and audit trail.
• Personal, illegal, or confidential information is prohibited in review text.

Failure handling and edge cases

• Removed reviews may require aggregate recalculation.
• Refunded orders require a clear eligibility policy.
• Disputes over factual claims should follow moderation rather than silent score editing.
