What this feature does

The listing editor captures the commercial offer, group-buy schedule, media, variant choices, MOQ rules, refund cutoff, and fulfillment expectations.

This guide describes the behavior implemented by Mallello, the people allowed to use it, and the operational checks that keep it dependable.

Detailed workflow

  1. Choose hosted or external mode.
  2. Enter a unique title, description, category, region, pricing, and dates.
  3. Define MOQ in the unit customers understand.
  4. Add images and structured options such as color, size, material, finish, layout, switch choice, compatibility, and customization notes.
  5. Set the refund deadline and manufacturing or delivery estimates.
  6. Save a draft, review its public presentation, then publish when ready.

Rules and permissions

  • Only the owning vendor or an authorized administrator can change a listing.
  • Prices and fees use integer minor currency units internally where applicable.
  • Options are parsed as separate values and must be reviewed for duplicates, spacing, and combinations.
  • Existing paid orders retain their recorded purchase details even if the listing later changes.

Failure handling and edge cases

  • Upload failures must not discard the rest of the draft.
  • Invalid date ordering, negative prices, or non-positive MOQ must be rejected.
  • Variant changes after sales can create unfulfillable combinations and require customer communication.
