What this feature does

Mallello is a curated marketplace for discovering, hosting, funding, and following group buys while preserving clear ownership between the platform, vendors, and customers.

This guide describes the behavior implemented by Mallello, the people allowed to use it, and the operational checks that keep it dependable.

Detailed workflow

  1. Visitors discover live, upcoming, and completed group buys.
  2. Customers create a verified account, follow vendors or listings, and place hosted or external orders.
  3. Vendors apply, complete Stripe onboarding, publish listings, communicate progress, and fulfill orders.
  4. Administrators supervise users, vendors, listings, money movement, communications, safety, and platform configuration.

Rules and permissions

  • A hosted listing is sold by its vendor through Stripe Connect; Mallello earns an application fee.
  • An external listing is a directory entry and sends the customer to the vendor's own checkout.
  • Access is role-based and sensitive administrative actions are audited.
  • Public documentation explains product behavior but the current Terms, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy remain authoritative.

Failure handling and edge cases

  • Provider outages may delay authentication, payments, uploads, or email without changing the underlying business state.
  • A listing can be visible but temporarily unable to accept hosted checkout if the vendor is not payout-ready.
